Program Details

This program is designed for students that want to earn a two-year degree from ATC and then transfer to a college that offers a related four-year bachelor’s degree. Students take twenty-four technical credits in areas such as computers, management, banking, accounting principles, and credit law, plus forty general education credits that must complete the ten goal areas of the Minnesota General Education Transfer Curriculum (www.mntransfer.org).

Employment Opportunities

The AS program is for students that want to attend Alexandria Technical College then transfer to a college that offers a bachelors’ degree in business. Bachelor’s degree graduates often secure employment in a wide variety of business positions especially in for-profit enterprises, but also in government and non-profit organizations.
