Students
Online learning requires students to be motivated, work independently and devote sufficient number of hours each week to a course. Students work on and complete assignments according to faculty assigned timelines. Students take online college courses at the same time as high school classes.

Students can access a variety of course materials including course content, calendar, news, grades, chats, discussions, drop box to submit assignments, quizzes, and surveys

- My Online Portal provides Online College in the High School students with a collection of personalized tools that will enhance their experience as online students . Among the many tools provided in the portal are: access to registering for courses, library materials, forms, and a student guide to learning the online learning tool called Desire2Learn. After registering for courses the portal will also show the classes a student is attending online. Later when students have taken courses for more than one semester they will be able to see their online course grades from prior semesters

- The home college of an Online College in the High School student will provide that student with a college email account. OCHS students are expected to check this account daily for information and updates from instructors and the college
