Thank you for registering for online courses!

Online learning requires that you be self-reliant, organized, and prepared. The following checklist will get you ready for your class!

TODAY:

1. Assess your computer and Internet capabilities. You must have daily reliable Internet access.

2. Login to MyOnline Portal at https://myonlineportal.minnesota.edu 
   MyOnline Portal is a website that is the gateway to access your online course and more.  

3. Locate the My Email icon (this is your college email account) in MyOnline Portal
   Login to your account and read mail daily. 

4. Locate the My eServices icon in MyOnline Portal Click on "Courses and Registration" to view your schedule and course start dates. 

ONE MONTH BEFORE COURSE STARTS:

1. Pay for courses Login to MyOnline Portal at https://myonlineportal.minnesota.edu 
2. Click on My eServices, "Bills and Payment" and "Balance Due by Term"
   Be sure to pay each college individually for the respective balance due.

THREE WEEKS BEFORE COURSE STARTS:

1. Login to MyOnline Portal at https://myonlineportal.minnesota.edu 
2. Locate the online bookstore link to order course texts and materials.

FIRST DAY of CLASSES:

1. Login to the online portal again and locate the MyCourses icon.
   Login to D2L
2. Click on the + sign beside the semester and locate your courses.
3. Participate in your course daily beginning on the course start date.
