Online Student Advisor

The Minnesota Learning Coalition has Online Student Advisors to assist you in reaching your online educational goals. Each one specializes in specific online programs and can be reached toll free 1-800-657-3930.

Online Advising Can:

  • Provide you with program or degree requirements
  • Answer general academic advising questions, such as “How many hours each week should I set aside to prepare for online coursework?”
  • Provide information about registering for classes
  • Give information about college resources including helpdesk information
  • Give information about general policies and procedures at the college
  • Explain how to apply to an online program

Online Advising Cannot:

  • Provide personal counseling
  • Take a message for your instructors
