Minnesota Coalition Transfer Information

Online Education

Accepting transfer credits is at the discretion of the receiving institution.

To transfer courses or apply credentials to a program offered by another college or university a student needs to inquire about the receiving institution transfer policies.

We encourage you to discuss your proposed educational plan with the receiving institution's Transfer Specialist and ask for an evaluation of credits.

Also, not all courses you may take will be directly transferable to another major, another associate or baccalaureate program; check with the transfer institution's Transfer Specialist about what options may be available to you to receive credit for non-transferable courses.

To assist transfer, some degree programs offered through distance have specific transfer agreements with other regional higher education institutions.
