Courses/Activities Conducted in the USA
Once you are admitted, some online programs and courses require some activities to be complete in-person in the USA. You should take the following steps to determine if you need to request a special international student status. Our best advice is to start the approval process well in advance of when you need to enter the USA.
- Review the onsite requirements:
- Contact the International Student Advisor or Designated School Officer (DSO) that the college assigns you well in advance of the term you must enter the USA. The ISA or DSO will advise you on what additional paperwork is needed to gain permission to enter the USA for educational reasons.
