Application Directions

Instructions for Applying Online

1. Step 1: Create an Account
   • Click the 'Create an Account' link.
   • Click the 'Create a MnSCU Account' link.
   • Complete the Prospective Student Account Form.
   • Log into the MnSCU Account with your username and password. Don't forget to save your user name and password for future reference when re-entering the system.
2. Step 2: Complete & Submit the Online Application You can complete your application in any order and save your work and come back to it later - even from a different computer! Check your application carefully before sending it!
   • Please note that there may be additional admissions requirements for your intended major.
   • Upon submission of your application, we will you inform you of additional requirements needed for your intended major.
   • Upon acceptance into the college your online advisor will contact you with your student ID number and the next steps.
3. Step 3: Pay $20 Application Fee
   • You may pay the application fee by accessing your e-services account. You may need to wait 24-48 business hours after you submit your application before you will see the charge posted to your account.
4. Step 4: Check Your Application Status
   • You may login into eServices periodically to check the status of your application. Additionally, your Online Advisor will be in contact with your regularly.
